Nella stagione dei premi non possono mancare i Razzie Awards, sinteticamente noti come Razzies, che celebrano, più che altro umiliano, il peggio della stagione cinematografica. Festeggiano quest’anno i 45 anni di età (sono nati il 31 marzo 1981) e sono rappresentati da un lampone appoggiato su un nastro Super 8 dipinto in oro, in origine si chiamavano infatti Golden Raspberry Awards e “raspberry” significa, appunto, lampone. Nato in contrapposizione agli Oscar, viene consegnato il giorno prima della più celebre statuetta dorata e, solo di rado, star vincitrici hanno partecipato alla cerimonia di premiazione.

Quest’anno a dominare nelle nomination sono il live action di Biancaneve e La guerra dei mondi con Ice Cube ed Eva Longoria.
